Problem we address
The exorbitant production of household waste generated daily in our society and the lack of strategies so that each family and individual can proactively reduce the harmful impact of these materials on nature.
Our goal
Strengthen the application of the 5Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rethink and Refuse), encouraging conscious and respectful attitudes, in addition to proposing practical solutions to be applied in the daily lives of families, stimulating a change in habits on a small scale, which collectively will gain strength to minimize the impacts of climate change.
Impact
Misinformation is the main cause of the huge amount of waste discarded without recycling at home. “The Planet Thanks” proposes activities that raise awareness among children and adults to cultivate effective and creative practices for reusing materials within their families.
In more than 10 years of activity, the project has reached more than 4,000 children by encouraging the exercise of creative recycling and the reduction of unnecessary consumption, in Europe and Latin America.

- By 2030, ensure that all students acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to promote sustainable development, including through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promoting a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and valuing cultural diversity and the contribution of culture to sustainable development.
5 Gender equality
- End all forms of discrimination against all women, girls and the LGBTQI+ community worldwide.
13 Climate Action
- Improve education, awareness raising and human and institutional capacity on mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning of climate change.
